Data privacy statement

Thank you very much for your interest in the web pages of the S-Group®. Protection of your personal data is very important to us. At this juncture, therefore, we would like to inform you about data privacy in our company. It goes without saying that we observe the legal regulations of the Data Privacy Act (BDSG), of the German Teleservices Act (TMG) and of other provisions in terms of data protection.

The object of data protection

The object of data protection is individual-related data. These are – in accordance with § 3 Subpara. 1 BDSG (Federal German Data Protection Act) – particulars about personal or factual circumstances of a certain or ascertainable natural person. Included here is, for example, such information as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number; where required, also usage data, such as your IP address.

Scope of data collection and storage

Generally, it is not necessary for you to state personal data to use our web page. However, to ensure we can, in fact, provide our services, we need, where appropriate, your personal data. This applies to both delivery of information material or ordered goods as well as to answering individual questions.

If you commission us with delivery of a service or goods, we basically collect and store your personal data needed only as appropriate for delivery of the service or execution of this agreement. Here it may be necessary to pass on your personal data to companies we use deliver the service or to execute the agreement. These are, for example, transport enterprises or other service providers.

Subsequent to the agreement being wound up completely, your data will be blocked and, upon expiry of the regulations in terms of fiscal and commercial law, deleted, provided you have not expressly concurred to data implementation exceeding this.

Appropriated data implementation

We observe the principle of appropriated data implementation and collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes, which you have informed us about. Your personal data shall not be transmitted to third parties without your express consent, provided this is not requisite to deliver the service or to execute the agreement. Even transmission of such data to state institutions and public authorities entitled to be provided with information shall only occur within the framework of the legal duty of disclosure, or if obligated to provide information by a court order.

We also take in-house data privacy very seriously. Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us have been obligated by us to maintain secrecy and the data protection provisions.

The right to be informed and the right to withdraw

Without stating any reasons, you will receive from us, free of charge, information about your data stored by us at any time. You will be able to block, correct or delete your data collected by us at any time. Without stating any reasons, you will also be able to withdraw the consent granted to us to collect and implement data at any time.
